Job Location: Wellness Clinic Youth Center (Edison, NJ)

Job Description:

Here is a list of some of the standard primary and acute care managed at the clinic;

• hypertension, diabetes, ADHD, GERD, UTIs, URIs, STDs, sprains, allergies, wellness exams, sick visits and school physicals.
• Collaboration with Mid-Levels

Collaboration with center’s medical staff, wellness staff and substance abuse specialists as necessary.

Role Description

This is a contract role for a Locums Physician with The Locums Company, LLC in Edison, NJ. The Locums Physician will work on-site and provide medical care to student patients in accordance with their medical specialty and expertise. We offer excellent compensation, and professional liability insurance.

Job Requirement:

• Active and unrestricted state medical license in New Jersey state
• Experience in providing medical care to adolescent patients, including performing medical procedures and prescribing medications
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to work 8 hours per week 
• Prior experience as a locums physician is a plus
• Valid Federal DEA license

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $125.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 hours per week

Schedule:

8 hour shift

Day shift

Monday to Friday

No weekends

Ability to Relocate:

Edison, NJ : Relocate before starting work (Required)
